- Published: August 14, 2001, By PRESS RELEASE
FAIRFIELD, NJ, USA—Utra Flex, Brooklyn, NY, has graced its operation with a new Fischer & Krecke gearless, servo-driven flexographic press, reports the press mfr.
The Flexpress 16 S/10 is a sleeve-based, fully computerized flexo press, capable of fast changeovers, while offering strength, high-speeds, wider widths, and repeats of a larger wide web press, says F&K.
Established more than 25 years ago, Ultra Flex manufactures a wide variety of bags, pouches, and laminations for the packaging industry. According to Ultra Flex's Zolman Zohar, vp, printing, the Brooklyn converting operation features high-quality graphics, rapid order turnaround, and short-run capabilities.
Zohar says of Ultra Flex's new press: "[Fischer & Krecke] listened to the market and built the user-friendly, versatile press the market wanted. That willingness to listen impressed us, and we are confident this technology will keep us current for a long time to come."
