Braille Embossing Tool Speeds Process

CINCINNATI, OH | Schober USA offers tools and modules for the embossing of Braille letters and symbols to speed in-line use at the printing press or off-line in a converting system. Applicable for both web and sheet-fed processes (such as a window patching system), in a wide variety of materials (including paper, board, and laminates), and for a range of printed materials, packaging, and more, says the company.

Set comprises a negative segment that includes all 288 Braille positions and a positive segment that holds the changing Braille embossing patterns. Said to be quickly and easily exchanged, yet holds tight tolerances. Can be integrated into existing cylinders as an upgrade so printers and converters can enter the Braille embossing market quickly and cost effectively.
