Davis-Standard & Coperian Alliance Good for Customers

PAWCATUCK, CT & RAMSEY, NJ, USA—Davis-Standard Corp. (a extrusion equipment manufacturer) and Coperion Corp. (a compounding equipment manufacturer) report the two companies have signed an agreement to cooperate in supplying complete systems for direct extrusion in the NAFTA market. According to Davis-Standard, "The agreement creates a powerful, full-service provider for in-line compounding and extrusion systems."

Davis-Standard adds customers will have the opportunity to work with the two suppliers to develop new products involving in-line compounding and will benefit from the companies' combined technologies as well as "the single-source responsibility from raw material to finished products (including complete system integtration); integrated control systems ensuring the highest degree of operability; better product quality achieved by eliminating one-heat history; and lower production costs resulting from energy savings."
