IMI Supplies Shorewood with H+S UF Retrofit

PALATINE, IL, USA—Independent Machinery Inc. (IMI) reports the installation of an Heiber + Schröder universial feeder retrofit for Shorewood Packaging Corp.'s Indianapolis plant. The converting equipment supplier adds Shorewood invested in the UF feeder in order to produce large runs of promo work requiring rigid window placement.
According to IMI, Heiber + Schröder GmbH manufactures the largest window patcher in today's market—up to 88 in. The company also specializes in new technology for film changeover, computerized makereadies, reduction of blanket handling, advanced error detection, scored window applicators, UV glue use for immediate film bonding, and integration of the windowing and gluing functions.
