The Model COUNT-100 Label Counting Station gives an accurate readout of the number of labels being rewound. Labels up to 6.5 in. wide and any length can be accommodated. When used with co.'s CAT-2 label rewinder, a pre-set count can be entered into the counter, and the rewind job will stop automatically when the specified count is reached. Uses the latest opto-electronic technology. A convenient sensitivity control is provided to ensure compatibility with virtually any type of label, co. notes.

The NWI narrow web tension transducer is a cantilevered, bearing-mounted idler roller with two built-in tension sensing elements. With tension displayed directly on the roll end, machine operator can make control adjustments if web tension runs outside acceptable limits. Transducer features its own 151/23O Vac power supply, with a module that includes a 0 — 10 Vdc output with terminal block for wiring the output to a drive, PLC, or other device. Available in eight standard roll face widths ranging from 7 — 20 in. and load ratings from 12 — 100 lb. Reportedly mounts easily to machine frame anywhere in the web path.

Aquatint^™ tinting inks are designed for customized coloring of a wide variety of white paper stocks used for tinted business forms, file folders, labels, and envelopes. Inks reportedly offer extended shelf life and fast, easy press cleanup and can be pigmented to achieve a wide range of colors and tint strengths — from pastels to strong, bold, or fluorescent colors. Mfr. says inks are pH stable, water-reducible, and feature low VOC levels. Also reports inks feature low paper moisture levels to control paper curl and uniformly distribute color to a wide range of web-fed, coated and uncoated paper basis weights, porosities, and variations in paper surface roughness.
