CHEVY CHASE, MD, USA—Leading industrial and consumer product companies, converters, and commercial printers are slated to speak at RadTech's e/5 2004 UV and EB Technology Expo and Conference. According to event sponsor RadTech, among the companies on tap for the May 2004 event include: Alcan Packaging, M&M/Mars, E&J Gallo, Microsoft, The Scott's Company, Bacardi, Coors Brewing Co., Anderson Lithograph, Lithotype, and Grafika Commercial Printing.
"Printers, converters, and consumer product companies from around the world are transitioning rapidly to ultraviolet (UV) and electron beam (EB), as the technology offers a number of operational and performance benefits," states RadTech.
According to the sponsor, presenters will discuss transitioning to UV and EB, the benefits of the technologies, and troubleshooting. Among the conference highlights, reports RadTech, are sessions offered for: laminating adhesives; curable inks, adhesives, and coatings for commercial printing; tags and labels; flexible packaging; and paperboard packaging.
The exhibition will include a consumer products "SuperStore" display, which will serve as the centerpiece on the show floor. Says RadTech, "The e/5 2004 exhibit floor promises to be the largest UV and EB marketplace ever assembled as well as the best source for equipment, coatings, inks, adhesives, supplies, raw materials, and more."
