LEOMINSTER, MA, USA—The Plastics Academy reports it's accepting nominations for induction into the Plastics Hall of Fame of living individuals whom have made outstanding contributions to the plastics industry in the US. Nominations will close December 1, 2002.
"We welcome nominations from any interested party," says academy chairman, John R. Kretzschmar. "We have established new procedures to simplify the nominating process and increase our ability to identify and honor those who did the most to make our industry great."
According to the Plastics Academy, those wishing to make a nomination should obtain the official form, which includes criteria for nomination, from the Academy office in Leominster, MA, or from any member of the Academy's Board of Directors. A committee of all living Hall of Fame members will select up to nine individuals for induction at a ceremony to be held at NPE 2003.
