Rexam & UK Manufacturer First Water to Develop Wound-Care P-S Adhesives

WREXHAM, U.K.—Rexam Engineered Films and First Water Ltd. recently announced an exclusive agreement for developing and supplying a range of ultra-thin, hydrogel pressure-sensitive adhesives. According to Rexam, manufacturer of wound-care components, First Water (a manufacturer of hydrogels), the p-s adhesives will be available worldwide in the wound-care and ostomy markets.

Under the agreement, First Water supplies Rexam with hydrogels and hydrogel formulations to the performance specs developed by both companies. "These highly breathable thin film adhesives, when combined with Rexam's broad technology platforms, further enhance Rexam's Inspire range of wound-care components," reports Rexam.
