Latran Technologies Adds Premier Sales Ltd. to Distribution Line-Up, Opening Up East Coast Channel for Package/Label Printing Markets

BEDFORD, MA, USA—Latran Technologies LLC reports a new initiative in its sales and distribution strategy that will help the business focus on the growing packaging and label printing industry.

According to the manufacturer of digital halftone proofing technology and systems, it has added Premier Sales Ltd. as its sales channel dedicated entirely to serving the package and label printing industry throughout the east coast for the Latran line of Prediction digital halftone proofing systems.

Latran says Premier Sales is headed by its founder and president Patrick J. O'Brien. "Premier's focus is on digital flexography with systems for direct laser engraving and mask abalation imaging for photopolymers," he says. "The Latran Prediction systems provide the key component for delivering predictability and repeatability to pressroom operations." O'Brien adds, "Proofing with the same screening used in the engraving or imaging process on the acutal substrate used in production provides an unrivalled accurate match to the quality delivered by the flexo press."

To direct the growth of its business opportunities in the converting market segments, Latran says it has appointed Kevin M. Hooper to the new position of business development manager; Hooper will be working with the company's new sales partners serving the package and label printing markets.
