KENNESAW, GA, USA—Heidelberg reports it hosted its second annual "Brats & Dots" open house on November 12, 2003, at the OEM's Corporate Office and Solution Center in Kennesaw. The Germany-based press manufacturer says more than 325 attendees were on hand to participate in the "unique printing experience [that] capped off Heidelberg's Digital Imaging Association's Directions '03 Meetings in Atlanta."
The latest in Heidelberg technology—prepress, press, direct imaging, postpress, and digital workflows, including new systems unveiled at Graph Expo earlier this fall—were showcased at this "one-of-a-kind event" at which guests could inspect equipment and talk to press operators about Heidelberg systems while be treated to a facility tour and authentic German cuisine.
Says Bob Boyer, Heidelberg sr. VP of sales for technical center south, "This is not a traditional open house. The event has turned into a unique experience and is getting bigger and bigger every year."
