Mark Andy Inc., St. Louis, MO, appoints Joe Hamway northeast regional sales rep.

HP reports Benny Landa, founder of Indigo and now strategic advisor to HP chairman and CEO Carly Rorina, is awarded the Edwin H. Land Medal by the Optical Society of America and the Society for Imaging Science and Technology. The award honors pioneering and entrepreneurial creativity that has had a major public impact. The medal recognizes Landa's invention, development, and commercialization of ink-based electro-photography.

P. Terce Henriquez is promoted to VP of global label sales at AET Films, New Castle, DE.

John H. Schlich, senior VP of operations for Atlantic Envelope Co., is awarded the 2002 Daniel H. Lipman Member-of-the-Year Award by the Envelope Manufacturers Association (EMA), Alexandria, VA. The criteria for this award are leadership and participation in the association and company. Richard Kranz of Tension Envelope Corp. received the EMA's Monument Award, created to honor individuals who have distinguished themselves in both public service and service to the envelope manufacturing industry.
