IADD Diecutting Odyssey 2003
May 14 -16, 2003, Donald E. Stephens Convention Ctr.
Rosemont (Chicago), IL
CRYSTAL LAKE, IL, USA—IADD (International Association of Diecutting and Diemaking) says the list of reasons to attend its diecutting trade show is growing. According to the trade group, Bobst Group USA recently announced its intention to demonstrate its fully operational SP 104-ER Autoplaten Diecutter and a Media 100-III A@ Folder-Gluer. IADD says the running equipment provides an attendance incentive for die cutters and die makers. "[It's] the only trade show with real-time educational programs presented inside a fully functional Techshop," adds IADD.
In addition to OEMs demonstrating fully operational equipment, the show is slated to include a Technology Hall. "Featuring flatbed, multi-contour and rotary diecutting and diemaking for cutting and trimming all soft to semi-rigid materials, [the Technology venue] will showcase the latest in presses, lasers, automated rule processors, ruling cylinders, samplemakers, plotters, countercutters, waterjets, rotary tooling systems, folder-gluers, software, and materials," reports IADD.
Says Bobst's Peter Witzig, "The last Diecutting Odyssey [in Nashville] was so successful for us, we jumped at the chance to participate again. [Next May], we will be demonstrating up-to-date solutions in diecutting as well as showing what Bobst offers in folding and gluing equipment."
IADD says 2003 Odyssey attendees will have access to more than 300 experts from companies that serve the diecutting converting industry worldwide. In addition, the a 30-plus technical program will provide them with a plethora of diecutting technical solutions. More information about Diecutting Odyssey 2003 is available at iadd.org.
