Flexo Students: Apply Before March 19 for 2004 Sun Chemical/FFTA Flexographic Research Fellowship

RONKONKOMA, NY, USA—The Foundation of Flexographic Technical Association (FFTA), in conjunction with Sun Chemical Corp., announce that applications now are being accepted for the 2004 Sun Chemical Corp./FFTA Flexographic Research Fellowship. According to FFTA, this is the first fellowship devoted to graduate-level studies in the field of flexographic printing.
The Sun Chemical/FFTA Fellowship will provide five stipends for research, say the sponsors; one $10,000 (US) non-renewable fellowship will be awarded each year for a total of five years, to a different inidividual in the graphic arts. Eligibility requirements include:

If you are a student, you must be full-time, in the US or abroad, with a field of study in flexographic printing/converting technology.

You must be enrolled in a qualified communication arts curriculum.

You must hold a BS or BA degree in a related discipline.

Working professionals in the flexographic field are eligible to apply.
All materials, including application, recommendations, and transcripts, should be sent to FFTA's Shelly Rubin. All materials MUST be received at FFTA headquarters by the March 19, 2004, deadline.
