Bimec to Exhibit Its Latest Slitter/Rewinder Models at Drupa

VANZAGHELLO, ITALY—Bimec S.r.l. reports it will show its latest models at Drupa.

According to Bimec, its model TCA/64.C duplex turret slitter/rewinder is equipped with an automatic change and shaftless unwind stand. Reports the OEM, "The TCA/64.C unwinds mother rolls up to 1000 mm diameter and rewinds finished rolls up to 600 mm diameter; it will be displayed in a full-optional version, with accessories like the differential rewind shafts; computerized control system through touchscreen operator panel with easy setting systems for the operator; the laser core-positioning feature; and a pushing system for finished roll unloading."

In addition, says Bimec, the newly upgraded model STB/45 duplex slitter/rewinder will be on display in Düsseldorf in May. Designed with unwinding and rewinding functions on the same side, the STB/45 is suitable for mother rolls up to 800 mm diameter and finished rolls up to 450 mm. diameter, explains the manufacturer.
