PACK EXPO International
November 3 - 7, 2002
McCormick Place, Chicago, IL, USA
ARLINGTON, VA, USA—Pack Expo International may be an appealing venue for converters; that's what the packaging show organizer, Packaging Machinery Manufacturers Institute (PMMI), is saying in its latest release promoting the show.
According to PMMI, the five-day venue will feature the latest advances in bag and box making machinery, pouch formers, printers, die cutters, rewinders, slitters, and tension-control equipment. Also featured, reports PMMI, will be holographic materials, papers, foils, films, adhesives, and coating materials "to promote brands at point-of-sale and protect products through distribution and use."
PMMI urges converters to consider a visit to the Windy City this fall for the show; Charles Yuska, PMMI president, says: "Pack Expo is the most comprehensive packaging technology show, where converters can view the machinery that runs their products. Keeping current of the latest packaging machinery and materials will enable them to adapt their products and gain the competitive edge in the converting industry."
Exhibitors Will Have...
Amplas, Inc., will unveil its Dry-Sak Machine, which reportedly is capable of making bags from a single sheet without the use of glue and patches; the manufacturer says the Dry-Sak machine is ideal for products like fertilizer, cement, and sugar. Visit Amplas at amplas.com.
Dienes Corp., reports PMMI, a supplier of slitting accessories, systems, and services for paper, film, foil, nonwoven, and specialty web material converters will showcase its new center Linear Bearing (CLB) system.
