AccuWeb Appoints New President; Co. also Enters European Market with Sales/Support Center

MADISON, WI, USA—AccuWeb Inc. reports the appointment of Henry A. Rissier as president of the electronic web-guide system manufacturing company. According to AccuWeb, Rissier formerly served as president of Elm Hurst, IL-based BST Pro Mark; he takes over all operating responsibilities from Raymond A. Buisker, who will assume the role of chairman.The co. adds, "[Buisker] will focus his activities on technology to assure that AccuWeb's unprecedented pace of product development continues."

Says Buisker, "Henry Rissier brings an impressive track record of generating growth on a global scale. We have a very aggressive technology vision and development schedule, so bringing a market-focused executive will allow me to direct my attention to these important projects."

AccuWeb Announces European Market Entry
AccuWeb also reports opening of a new European subsidiary, headquartered in Fribourg, Switzerland. According to the mfr., the new Sales and Support Center will direct the European activities for the complete line of products.
