Flint Ink Launches Jetrion

ANN ARBOR, MI, USA—Flint Ink Corporation announces the creation of Jetrion LLC, a new global company providing a full range of industrial inkjet products, services, and custom printing solutions. According to the privately owned ink manufacturer, this represents a multimillion-dollar commitment by the company and will result in a tripling of current dedicated digital staff in 2003. Adds Flint Ink, Jetrion will be the only company worldwide with the combination of products services and resources to capture pent-up demand for inkjet integration services, inkjet-enabling technologies, and new custom, high-performance inks.

Flint Ink says Jetrion's high-performance product portfolio will help customers increase productivity, accuracy, and print efficiency for a range of packaging, addressing, coding, and direct-mail applications; 22 different CIJ ink, makeup, and wash products currently are available for addressing and coding applications, including solutions for Scitex, Videojet, Domino, and Imaje Technology. Black addressing inks and a variety of UV (ultraviolet) and other solvent-based inks are available for DOD applications, co. adds.
