Creo & KBA Partnership to Continue Digital Printing Development

VANCOUVER, BC, CANADA—Creo reports it has signed a multi-year contract with Koenig & Bauer (KBA) for on-press thermal imaging technology. According to Creo, KBA has agreed to have the company be its exclusive supplier of thermal imaging heads for its 74 Karat digital offset press. Creo also says it has agreed to continue the development of the unique thermal imaging system, and under the new agreement, Creo reports it will develop software and hardware for future applications in the digital printing market as well as provide technical support for KBA. The agreement is effective through December 31, 2004.
