Kroenert Now Parent Co. for Former Jagenberg Sub. Bachofen and Meier

HAMBURG, GERMANY—Maschinenfabrik Max Kroenert GmbH & Co. reports it recently took over Bachofen + Meier AG, Bülach, Switzerland from Jagenberg AG, Neuss, Germany. The Swiss corporation, specializing in converting equipment for the paper, film, foil, and corrugated manufacturing and processing industries, will continue operations within a group parented by Kroenert, says the manufacturer.
"With newcomer Bachofen in [our] group, which also includes Kroenert Corporation in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, USA,l and Drytec, an industrial dryer manufacturer based in Hamburg-Norderstedt, Germany, Kroenert and Bachofen now are in a position to meet the requirements of its international customers to an even wider extent," says Kroenert. "In the future, [our] core business will comprise paper, plastics, and foil upgrading and lamination as well as a finishing division for paper and corrugated packaging," adds the mfr.
