Smurfit-Stone Pacific, MO, Plant Celebrates 50 Years

PACIFIC, MO, USA—Smurfit-Stone Container Corporation's Pacific, MO, folding carton facility will celebrate 50 years of production; the company held an employee open house on Saturday, October 12, 2002, which included plant tours and information explaining the folding carton production process.

According to Smurfit-Stone, its Pacific facility produces (on state-of-the-art printing and die-cutting equipment) folding cartons for consumer product markets ranging from beverages to cereal. It also offers systems developed specifically for processing store brand or high-multiple copy orders; in-house CAD, design, and platemaking.
