Thermo Web Now Kadant Web Systems

AUBURN, MA, USA—Thermo Web Systems, Inc., has changed its name to Kadant Web Systems, Inc., says the company president, Eric Langevin. "Earlier this year our parent company, Thermo Fibertek, was spun off from Thermo Electron Corp. as an independent public company and now is called 'Kadant, Inc.," says Langevin. "As a result, now we will be known as Kadant Web Systems, Inc., and you'll begin to see our new name on our materials and products as we link the Web Systems' name with the new Kadant identity."

A supplier of a range of technology-based products for the papermaking and paper-recycling industries—including de-inking systems, stock-preparation equipment, water-management systems, and paper-making accessories—Kadant Web Systems, Inc., is headquartered in Auburn, MA, and operates two other North American manufacturing facilities in Smyrna, GA, and in Portland, OR.
