Labelexpo Americas: Visitor Line-Up Is Global

BROOKFIELD, WI, USA—Visitors from more than 60 countries will be attending Labelexpo Americas 2002, says Tarsus, show sponsor. Tarsus is calling the September 10–12, 2002, "the most important event yet in its 16-year history." Adds the group: "Visitors are expected from across North America; from all over Europe and Eastern Europe, including Russia; and from Australaisa, Japan, Korea, and the Philippines."
According to Tarsus, this year's event is expected to feature a great number of new product launches from companies like: Dow Corning; ETI; Green Bay Packaging; Husson; MacDermid; Mark Andy; Nilpeter; PCMC; Sohn Manufacturing; and Water Ink Technologies. Attendees to Labelexpo Americas 2002 also will benefit from new organizational developments, including teams of more than 60 experienced registration staff, which Tarsus says will increase the speed and flow at which visitors are processed dramatically.
In addition to the trade show, Labelexpo Americas will feature its conference program, which according to Tarsus, "is proving to be a popular attraction." Adds show sponsor: "This year's program has 28 individual conference sessions, providing the lowdown on everything from product decorating to value-added applications." Speakers to include: Christian Simcic, group VP, Avery Dennison; Ed Gonzalves, business development manager—indentification, Philips; and Kishore Sarkar, product manager, Gallus.
To date, Labelexpo Americas 2002 boasts 450 exhibitors (covering up to 180,000 sq ft of floor space), 65 of them showing for the first time, says Tarsus. The event is slated for September 10–12, 2002, at the Donald E. Stephans Convention Ctr., Rosemont (Chicago), IL USA.
