Holographic Technology Is Seamless

Totally Seamless Technology (TST) was designed to assist companies that have to contend with shim lines in converting holographic film. TST is shim-driven rather than roll-based, thus it is more conducive to large-scale production, says mfr. Can be used for security and packaging applications. Also said to minimize film scrap.

New substrates have been added to the Fasson Rapid-Roll line. Domestic wet strength labels, available in 40# and 55# C1S, are said to provide outstanding durability in high-moisture envelopes and an exceptionally smooth printing surface. These new grades are FDA-compliant for food contact and complement co.'s substrate offerings for glue-applied beverage labeling applications.

The EF (Effective Flexo) dedicated UV flexo press is driven by digitally controlled, servo drive technology. EF printing and converting systems are used for rotary screen combination printing with Stork RSI Rotamesh technology. Features includes Crisp.Dot technology said to result in minimal dot gain, a full round dot, good ink coverage of solid areas, and sharper printing of smaller fonts.
