Wide-Format Inkjets Focus of Graph Expo and Converting Expo Pavilion

RESTON, VA, USA —For the first time ever, says Graph Expo/Converting Expo's sponsor, Graphic Arts Show Company (GASC), the annual venue will feature a special pavilion devoted to displaying wide-format inkjet printing systems in operation. Says GASC, "Designed to be a total experience for anyone exploring wide-format inkjet technology, the pavilion not only provides the opportunity to see all the elements of the production process operating together live, but also gives visitors the unique ability to meet actual equipment users, ask questions, and get candid answers about the ins and outs of wide format."

Says Regis Delmontagne, GASC president, "The pavilion is part of our continuing effort as America's premier printing, publishing, and converting trade show to provide a key resource for graphic communications professionals seeking to understand and capitalize on the projected growth in wide-format imaging. We have always been proactive in finding and showcasing new opportunities for the industry, and this is certainly a promising one." According to GASC, a recent study funded by NPES (The Association for Suppliers of Printing, Publishing, and Converting Technologies) revealed that the wide-format inkjet market could be worth more than $11 billion (US) in the United States by 2005.

Graph Expo and Converting Expo is slated for October 3 thru 9, 2002, McCormick Place, Chicago, IL. GASC reports the show will include more than 450 exhibitors, occupying nearly 370,000 sq ft of display space. Learn more about the upcoming Graph Expo and Converting Expo at graphexpo.com.
