Milltown, Nj | The Packaging Group will host Microwave Pack 2009 on November 3-4, the first major conference on microwave packaging in over a decade, according to Stan Sacharow, managing director. “This is a much-needed update on the current state of the multi-billion dollar industry for the packaging of microwavable foods,” he says. Program director Bob Schiffmann, president of R.F. Schiffman Assoc., promises a powerful program including experts in susceptor technology, steam packs, and microwavable retort pouches. Schiffmann also will teach two short courses on November 3, preceding the conference. They are “Understanding Microwave Packaging” and “Understanding Microwave Ovens: Technology, Myths & Reality.”
The conference will be held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Monroe Township (Princeton), NJ. For more information visit www.packaginggroup.com.
