Appleton Papers Changes Name

APPLETON, WI, USA—Appleton Papers Inc. reports it will change its trade name and logo to Appleton. The producer of carbonless, thermal, and security products says it will use the tagline, "What Ideas Can Do," with a logoi as part of its new identity. The co. says it retain Appleton Papers Inc. as the legal name.

CEO Doug Buth says that producing carbonless, thermal, and security products will continue to the foundation of the company's product offerings. "We are proud of the market leadership positions we have earned and excited about what our new ideas can do for our customers and our company." He adds the company is developing additional ways to show customers what "Appleton ideas" can do by using its expertise in coating and encapsulation technology to expand further into markets such as brand protection, digital printing, ink jet printing, packaging, and label converting.
