Two Earn SGP Certification

SEATTLE, WA | Sustainable Green Printing Partnership (SGP), an independent, nonprofit organization for sustainability certification in the graphic communications industry, announces two new facilities have completed the necessary requirements to become SGP Certified: Great Big Pictures, Madison, WI, is the 28th organization to be so certified, and Berman Printing, Cincinnati, OH, is the 29th.

Great Big Pictures reports it reduced energy use, identified production efficiencies, and switched to recyclable materials. Berman adjusted its processes to reduce emissions, conserve resources, and reuse or recycle materials.

Certification comes with regular measurement and review of certified facilities.
