Karlville Launches Innovative Combi Laminator

Karlville, a manufacturer of the Pack Ready Laminator for HP Indigo, announced the launch of new laminator that combines both thermal and solventless adhesive lamination technologies.

HP Indigo Pack Ready Lamination could be an excellent choice for label converters entering the flexible packaging space as a simple, low waste, zero cure time and high lamination bond strength solution. Solventless technology has been the main alterative as a cost friendly solution which allows fabricating your own pre lams.

“Our COMBI thermal and solventless laminator, allows customers to have the best of both worlds to compete at all levels; luxury finishes and pre lam price,” said Raul Matos, vice president, sales and marketing, Karlville.

“For label printers entering space, the COMBI will allow them to lower risk of startup as well as prepare to compete with conventional solventless dedicated converters. Currently in a BETA testing plan for Pack Ready, the machine reportedly processes webs from 330 millimeters to 800 millimeters and is designed for both HP Indigo 6900 and HP Indigo 20000. Manufactured in partnership with Webcontrol, the innovative design combines both technologies elegantly, creating a platform for future innovation within our product line.
