Green Bay Innovation Group hosts Converters Expo

Northeastern Wisconsin is called the Converting Corridor of the United State and an extension of our paper industry!  We estimate the number to be over 300 Converters in the State of Wisconsin. The Green Bay Innovation Group has done extensive research on the Converting Industry.  We have built the most complete database in the industry. Later in the year, we will publish a more detailed report.

Green Bay will be hosting the Converters Expo at Lambeau Field on April 18 with an estimated attendance of 600 people.  Converters Expo is the largest converting event in the U.S.

The Green Bay Innovation Group has an all-day event on April 17:  Converting, Coating & Sustainability at Miron Construction 1471 McMahon Dr. Neenah, WI .

The Converting Industry is the essential part of the process of taking paper and a number of other substrates and creating a finished product.  Converting paper finds a wide variety of finished products including writing and printing papers, newsprint, nonwovens, tissue, towels, corrugated, board, labels and many other packaging applications. The consumption of converting paper is growing very rapidly across the globe especially in the industrial packaging area owning primarily due to sustainability. This demand is attributed to a low-cost packaging solution as well as nature friendliness of paper material. The surge in demand is driving significant growth in the converting paper markets and Wisconsin will have to provide more paper and pulp manufacturing to keep up with the DEMAND!

In addition to a large number of converters, Wisconsin leads the nation with very innovative manufacturers building converting equipment for companies worldwide.  A great example is Paper Converting Machine Company, C.G. Bretting, Quad Plus, ASI, Curt G. Joa, Inc., Korber, and Maflex.  Wisconsin has world class along with supporting machine shops like ATAM, Associated Machine Design, Inc., CPW,  PCS, Gain Control, LLC., EMT, International, Precision Roll Solutions, Infinity Machine, Baum Machine,  MVI,  Precision Die Systems, Robinson, Inc., Shemesh Automation,  Rol-tec,  Sure Controls, Inc., Title town Manufacturing and others.   If you want an opportunity to meet a number of outstanding company, a number of them are exhibiting at the Converters Expo!
