Cylindrical (tubular) magnetic proximity sensors designated PRX+3800 (Form B) and PRX+3900 (Form C) are said to deliver the advantages of reed switch sensing technology with smaller physical dimensions than previously available. Sensors can be used in automation, control, or detection in a wide range of applications, including extreme environments in which physical contact must be avoided between the sensor and the object being sensed.
