Castle-Pierce Adds New Packaging Flexo Press and Poucher

Offering a range of custom printing and converting packaging solutions, CastlePierce Printing, a leader in flexible packaging print and converted pouches, offset folding carton and rigid set-up base and lid boxes, announced new installations of a central impression flexo press as well as film poucher. The new equipment will be production ready around the first of the year 2022 and adds to its print and converting capabilities focused on small to medium quantity film and paperboard packaging.

 The new equipment features:

Central Impression Flexo Press

  • Quick turn low touch efficient makeready;
  • Lowest cost per impression;
  • Increased size to accommodate larger packages;
  • Brilliant 10 color print registration and ink output;
  • Increases production speeds with print stabilization; and
  • Significantly reduced energy and solvent consumption.

Pouch Converting Machine

  • High speed 240 CPM servo pouching and quality control;
  • Print registration for all sides;
  • Inline standing pouch and zipper high strength seal units;
  • Custom sizing including corner and bottom gusset sealing; and
  • Most film varieties including food grade and daily goods pouches.
