The Conference at PACK EXPO | Educate, Innovate, and Advance

The Conference at PACK EXPO, held in conjunction with PACK EXPO International 2012 (October 28-31; McCormick Place, Chicago), will offer packaging printing and converting professionals actionable insight into the latest trends and issues driving the industry under the umbrella theme of “Educate. Innovate. Advance.” This year’s broad range of sessions will include discussions on sustainability initiatives, regulatory compliance and anti-counterfeiting measures.

The show has partnered with leading associations from across the supply chain to provide conference sessions tailored to attendees’ specific areas of interest. Partners include:

  • Alliance for Innovation and Operational Excellence (AIOE)
  • Association for Automatic Identification and Mobility (AIM)
  • Institute of Packaging Professionals (IoPP)
  • The Great Lakes and Midwest chapters of the International Society for Pharmaceutical Engineering (ISPE)

  • The Packaging Association — PAC

Sessions are divided into eight different tracks and include Focus on the Future—Trends and Innovations, Food Safety/Product Security and Sustainability/Packaging Materials. Registration fees are $99 per session through October 8, 2012 cost increases to $125 per session after that date. The ticket price includes admission to the PACK EXPO show floor.

In addition, the PACK EXPO Lecture Series will feature a spirited discussion between nationally renowned commentator and comedian Dennis Miller and James Carville, political consultant and former advisor to President Bill Clinton. The two speakers will provide their views on the 2012 Elections and respond to audience questions on Sunday, October 28, at 5:15 p.m. Tickets for this special event will be sold separately from Conference session tickets or general registration, at a cost of $125 or $1,000 for a package of 10.
