NPE2012 Has Much To Celebrate

WASHINGTON, DC | When the NPE plastics and elastomers exposition greets visitors April 1?5, 2012, it will be celebrating a new venue, the introduction of equipment and technology for the worldwide plastics industry, and the 75th anniversary of SPI: The Plastics Industry Trade Assn., producer of the triennial event.

The educational program will begin on Sunday, April 1, and the four-day trade show opens April 2.

Co-locating with NPE2012 will be the SPE ANTEC 2009 plastics technical conference; educational programs organized by SPI and partner organizations; trade shows focusing on moldmaking and rapid product development; and the 2nd International Plastics Design Competition.

Besides hundreds of free-standing company exhibits, NPE2012 will offer multi-exhibitor pavilions focusing on sustainability and relevant technologies such as bioplastics, energy conservation, and alternate energy sources; emerging technologies such as nanocomposites; and specialized industry sectors such as thermoforming, rotational molding, and elastomers.
