Upgraded Slitter Reduces Costs

Upgrades to the Pluto II slitter/rewinder are said to enhance performance and efficiency while keeping costs down. An additional adjustable roller will compensate material shortcomings in a diagonal direction, company says, contributing to higher slit and rewind quality even when processing lower quality material. Software has been upgraded to add accuracy and constant impression value during rewinding. A system for position setting of lay-on and dancer rolls is said to offer easy installation and operation.
