UV To Aid Digital Plates

UV exposure technology is expected to enable digital flexo plates to achieve 1:1 file-to-plate imaging, improving print image reproduction. Easily integrated into existing digital workflows, technology creates “flat top dots” and high line screen imaging without the use of any lamination step or inert gas technology. Technology is said to enhance the benefits of high-definition flexo and easily integrate plate cell surface screening for improved ink transfer.
