The nyloflex Automated Plate Processor (APP) covers flexographic printing plate formats with a maximum plate size of 1,320 mm × 2,032 mm and plate thickness of 0.7-7.0 mm. Unit combines a round brush washer, a dryer including eight drying drawers, a unit for post exposure and light finishing (UV-A/UV-C), and a stacker with eight drawers. There are two brush settings for plates: <3 mm and >3mm. The company reports the processing line offers a total capacity of 120 plates/320 m2/day. Automated unit is said to improve plate and print quality as well as reduce mistakes, consequently cutting costs and claim rates significantly.
