Gietz Shows Its Stuff at drupa

GOSSAU, ST. GALLEN, SWITZERLAND | Gietz celebrated its 120th anniversary and 60 years of participation at the recent drupa by displaying five foil stamping presses. The top-of-the-line FSA 1060 Foil Commander demonstrated its ability to incorporate multiple processes in one operation and a number of capabilities were highlighted, including:

• Narrow foil web application on a platen press

The Gietz ROFO 910 roll-to-roll, flat/flat foil stamping machine demonstrated the latest developments in foil technology by running a sophisticated tobacco carton with hinge lids incorporating multiple capabilities, foil stamped inner frames with micro-embossing, and multi-sculptured combination foil stamping of a registered hologram.
Gietz also demonstrated the FSA 870 compact, with features said to be well suited to the security printing industry.
