Reportedly, this system goes beyond ink curing by offering innovative package design enhancement capabilities intended to maximize profits and optimize quality. The BroadBeam 4-In-1 line offers four interchangeable package enhancement operation modes: coating; laminating; cold foil transfer; and Cast and Cure from Breit, a decorative coating process said to offer consistent, high quality decorative effects that includes ultra-high gloss, matte, and holographic images on a variety of substrates, and can provide anti-counterfeiting features. This low-cost and environmentally friendly process utilizes a reusable film to micro-emboss decorative effects into the surface of energy-curable varnishes.
The BroadBeam 4-In-1 works at high speeds, is compatible with wide web widths, and generates low substrate heating, said to be important when processing sensitive materials such as thin films.
