ExxonMobil Metallized OPP Has Many Benefits

HOUSTON, TX | ExxonMobil Chemical has introduced Label-Lyte 50ML580 metallized, surface-printable OPP film for pressure-sensitive label applications. Said to provide a consistent, attractive metallic appearance and high-speed performance, film is suited for applications such as beverages, health and beauty care, and household products.

According to the company, proprietary coating over the metallized surface provides improved metal adhesion and protection; design helps prevent the formation of pinholes and crazing; topcoating provides excellent print receptivity for a range of ink systems and consistent printing across multiple technologies; and film exhibits excellent stiffness for automatic label dispensing.
