New Recyclable Package from Colbert Packaging

LAKE FOREST, IL | Colbert Packaging Corp., a manufacturer of folding cartons, rigid paper boxes, and paperboard specialty products, reports the first commercial applications for EnviroGuard, the company’s patented paperboard specialty package said to be a sustainable alternative to plastic clamshells. VetGuard Plus, a new flea, tick, and mosquito treatment for dogs, is offered in eight fully recyclable versions of EnviroGuard.
All eight variations comprise a fully formed paper tray with a trap card heat-sealed to the front of the tray. All packages are designed with a perforated bottom outer edge that enables the consumer to peel up and pull back the trap card to access the contents of the package.
