IRVING, TX | ExxonMobil Chemical will showcase its polyethylene and specialty elastomers at Arabplast 2013, the 11th Arab International Plastics & Rubber Industry Trade Show & Conference in Dubai, UAE, January 7–10.
On display will be Exceed metallocene polyethylene (mPE) resins, said to offer excellent performance by providing a balance of film toughness and strength, outstanding film impact resistance, and exceptional sealing performance; Enable mPE resins, reportedly offering converters more stable operations, improved film line output and simpler resin sourcing; and Vistamaxx propylene-based elastomer (PBE), which company says can be used to tailor, enhance and balance a combination of properties—including adhesion, cling, elasticity, sealability, softness, toughness and transparency—in PE film and propylene formulations.
All are said to deliver innovation and potential sustainability opportunities for a range of films including collation shrink, food packaging, cast stretch and stretch hood packaging, heavy duty sacks, and agricultural applications.
