Newark Group Raises Prices on Coated Grades

CRANFORD, NJ | The Newark Group, specialists on the collection of secondary fibers and the manufacturing and converting of 100% recycled paperboard in the US and Canada, announces a $40/ton price increase on all coated grades of recycled paperboard effective with shipments on or after April 2, 2013.
“The increase is necessary due to the escalating costs of raw materials, freight, and energy,” says Raymond Vargo Jr., VP of sales, Newark Paperboard Mills.
