Second MPS Flexo Press for Ovelar

DIDAM, THE NETHERLANDS | MPS reports the receipt of an order from Ovelar S.A., a Spanish packaging printer, for a MPS EF-410 UV full servo flexo press. With a printing width of up to 410 mm, the new flexographic printing press will boost the company’s production of shrink sleeves (heat-shrinkable sleeves). This is the second MPS press that Ovelar has purchased within a period of two years.
The first MPS press Ovelar installed was an EXL-packaging UV flexo press with a wide-format print size of 660 mm. Ovelar opted to extend their production capacity with a second MPS press due to proven technology and local support from Grupo Impryma (MPS distributor in Spain). Their newest MPS press is an EF-410 full servo 8-color UV flexo press with the MPS innovative Crisp.Dot Technology, which provides full round dots for sharp printing and consistent print quality. This second press is equipped with Automatic Print Control to set the print pressures automatically. In the words of Jesús Ovelar, president of Ovelar, the new MPS press will provide a greater degree of flexibility and higher printing quality of shrink sleeve labels, where Ovelar is a market leader.
