Digital Label Finishing Systems Offers “Mini Press”

WOODSTOCK, GA | Digital Label Finishing Systems announces the MP850 8.5-in.-wide “Mini Press” designed to laminate, die-cut, slit, and rewind digitally printed labels. 

Company says the MP850 label finishing system can laminate and rotary die-cut preprinted labels produced by any roll-to-roll label printer and will die-cut labels to 8.25 in. wide x 9 in. long at speeds to 15 in./sec. Featuring an all-electronic setup with an interactive touch screen display, unit’s intelligent rotary die-cutter is said to cut precisely, adjust automatically, and reduce label waste. Can also be used to cut blanks, laminate specialty materials, to slit and rewind stock.

Uses either engraved tooling or an optional magnetic cylinder with flex dies. The unit is designed to accept most flexo tooling to 7.5 in. wide for ease of operation and rapid changeover. Reportedly has many features of full-size presses, including X and Y adjusters on the cutter and slitter, step up and step down anvil rollers, and primary and secondary finished label take-ups. Comes standard with a laminate liner take-up.
