MOBILE, AL | XANTÉ introduced the Excelagraphix 4200P at PRINT 13, September 8–12, at Chicago’s McCormick Place, (where it was designated a “MUST SEE ‘EM).
The inkjet print system for high-speed, wide-format corrugated printing is said to meet the need for profitable, on-demand, short-run printing. Offers a small footprint and will print color containers with special promotions, personalized ad copy, and graphics. Company says it is intended not to replace a flexo press but to complement it.
Run by iQueue Workflow Software, unit prints at speeds to 12 in. (305 mm)/sec on media to 5/8 in. (15.9 mm) thick on sheets to 42 in. (1,067 mm) wide x 8 ft (2.4 m) long.
