OMET Americas to Show New Press at Labelexpo Americas

DES PLAINES, IL | OMET Americas will present the XFlex X4 17-in.-wide (440-mm) entry-level press at the upcoming Labelexpo Americas 2014, September 9–11, at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, IL. 

The press features the Vision register control system, twin servo-motors on each printing unit, and label and film printing capabilities.

The company says the extended width of the press is well suited for the American market, where printers often want to capability to produce both short and medium runs of labels as well as long runs of flexible packaging.

OMET Americas’ location in Illinois, less than a year old, offers sales and service for both the printing and the tissue industry on an installed base of approximately 130 machines for the North, Central, and South America markets. It also stores and provides logistics for spares and exchanges and offers an OMET-certified training center.
