PHILADELPHIA, PA | MBO introduced the M80 Flexible Folding System to the Latin American print and finishing markets during what MBO chairman Frank Eckert calls a "highly successful" ExpoPrint Latin America, held July 16–22 in São Paulo, Brazil. MBO exhibited with partner KBA.
At the show company featured an automated combi-folding version M80 with continuous feeder and SBAP (vertical stacking) delivery. The automation is said to provide fast setup, which is especially helpful in environments with frequent job changes.
Company says the M80 is built to allow upgrades and reconfiguration of components at any time, thereby giving production and postpress facilities the freedom to serve a wider range of applications. The modular design of the M80 is possible due to a structural redesign and new M1 Control system, which standardizes machine interfaces and can be upgraded as components are changed.
