Sensory Analytics System Measures Film Thickness

GREENSBORO, NC| Sensory Analytics reports its SpecMetrix in-line thin film and coating thickness measurement systems have been selected for the ICE Asia (http://www.ice-x-asia.com/home) Innovation Award at the combined International Converting Exhibition (ICE) and Organic and Printed Electronics Conference (OPEX) held in Shanghai.

SpecMetrix systems are said to deliver precise, real-time coating thickness and film weight measurement results with no contact with coatings or substrates. Company says systems provide a better non-contact and non-radioactive means to measure thinly applied wet or dry UV coatings, hard coats, adhesives, silicones, barrier coatings, film layers, and other finishes on films, coated papers, foils, and other substrates, while reducing energy consumption and the environmental footprint of manufacturers.
