Gallas Label & Decal Adds SensoTec Auto Registration

CHICAGO, IL | Gallas Label & Decal recently installed SensoTec auto registration technology on its eight-color, all-UV Gallus EM280 combination press. The result is perfect registration, reduced set-up time, and up to 50% reduction in material waste, the company reports.

The SensoTec system uses fiber optic microelectronic sensors that scan at each revolution and adjust registration simultaneously throughout the print run. It also reduces waste during set-up and during the run making it extremely eco-friendly as well. This efficient process reportedly makes SensoTec auto registration one of the most powerful lean manufacturing tools in the printing industry.
