FiberMark Cover Material Has Look of Luxury

WEST SPRINGFIELD, MA | FiberMark offers LaCrema cover material said to feature a luxurious, creamy, rich finish combining the look of genuine leather and the cushiony feel of competitive polyurethane products. 
Company says this FSC certified material has a very soft thermo-reactive surface that provides excellent decoration through burnishing.
After announcing reduced pricing, company also offers a new service platform for LaCrema. Because material is made in the US, quantities between 40 and 250 yds in 55-in. rolls ship the next day if ordered by 3:00 PM EST.
Offering the same processing efficiencies as a saturated cover material, converters reportedly will find it easier to wrap a box, glue the material, and run it through binding equipment. Other attributes are said to include:

Originally developed for the publishing market, LaCrema has gained traction in the packaging arena, company says, specifically in the luxury spirits and wine and health and beauty markets.
